The Chronicle of Phra Nang Chamaridewi of Amphoe Li

Although the origin of the Thai people is still being studied, a local legend from the city of Li tells of a heroic lady who led her people from Southern China to Northern Thailand. Today, this legend is preserved in the murals of a temple. This is the story of “Lady Chamaridewi”.
